Clone clowns

Ah man! The Koreans didn't clone that dog, after all. And people are right fired up about it.

Just as well, though. You think we really need more Afghan Hounds?

Google mail is starting to freak me out

So I wrote an email to a buddy about proselytizing, and all of a sudden google mail pops up a little tiny bar just above my inbox with the latest news items about religion.

The folks at google are getting a little too nosy, too sneaky.

But the news link they sent me was pretty interesting:,1283,69883,00.html?tw=rss.TOP

This bill just won't die

Man, just when you think that the drilling-in-ANWR thing is over, it resurfaces yet again.

This time, some 82 year old dude wants to stay up all night and thru the holiday hours to try and get a bill passed which would allow oil drilling in the ANWR.

The kicker is that it, once again, is attached to another bill - this one increasing funds to the Iraq war...... I'm not sure if these two items should be related and voted on in the same bill.

Makes no sense. We'll be fighting over this when I'm 82.

As usual, Tim Harper breaks it down for us.

If you've ever hated the Shaq

Have you ever visited this page?

It's pretty funny.

This "headline" discusses how the Kyoto targets are just symbolic targets, and that the US trying to meet them would just be for PR purposes.

But implied in this position is that the Kyoto targets are just the tip of the iceberg - the world will need to go far beyond the Kyoto targets if we're to rescue this green and blue orb from some thermal fate. If the US isn't even meeting the symbolic targets, how is it going to meet the real, necessary targets?

Listen, just make the GOP webpage your start page today, OK?
